My city means the world to me. Im from BROOKLYN home of Biggie and Jay-Z home of Fabolous and ODB. and most importantly home of Z I B. I love to travel, ive been to many cities around our country and even the world. As much as other cities are visually and spiritually beautiful theres something deeper about my city. BROOKLYN N.Y. Could it be the cultural diversity? theres a neighborhood for people from every country in the world. The russians in brighton, the italians in bensonhurst the indians and jamaicans and mexicans in coney island, the arabs in bay ridge, i could go on and on. And of course the Jews in midwood, gravesend, flatbush, manhattan beach, borough park and crown heights. Could it be the beautiful views i get of Manhattan from the BQE at night? Could it be our accent thats recognized all over the world? How bout the fact that alot of our parents or grandparents came to Brooklyn from there countries poor and struggling and decided to stay here when they succeeded.
As the writer of this "style blog" i wanna make sure my readers and friends are as proud to be from Brooklyn as i am. Im gonna show you some things that i own that show that i represent.

"Come Original"

We all know who runs the whole footwear industry whether its sneakers for basketball, running, or golfing. Or dress shoes for suits and even basics like converse all stars (chucks). Well in case you dont know its Nike.

So how is any other sneaker company able to compete? The answer is simple, they cant!! This is a very understandable fact but... There are other sneaker companies that have there own style and are making a name for themselves unlike most other sneaker companies that are based on copying Nike styles.
CREATIVE RECREATION is a company that i like alot because they brought there own style to the table. they did there own thing, i dont care whether there popular or not i dont even care if there ugly as long as its there own ugly. I happen to think they look very good and i bought a pair. They are very comftorble also very big plus.

In my opinion a cool logo and original name

Fukin hot ass colors and cool material, you guys should know how much i love pattened leather. And most important an original style, can you see that they are copying anything i cant. If you do please tell me.

"The Loser's Called, They Want There Sneaker's Back"

I love sneakers more than anything in the world and again, i always did. When i was in the 12th grade i would wear my white "Americas Cup" Prada sneakers. I was the coolest fukin kid on the block, i had them in white and id wear them with a light shade jean and a pink lacoste polo man i was the shit. Unfortunately i wasnt as careful with my sneakers then as i am now and killed them in like 6-8 months if i remember correctly. I felt like a big asshole because i was still an unemployed student and just ruined a $300 pair of sneakers.
Those days are over and so is the "Americas Cup" sneaker. In my opinion, the people who wear them are clueless as to what's in style and look's good and feel they still need a red stripe on the bottom of there shoes after all these years. I wouldnt even call them sneakers because there heavy and i wouldnt call them shoes because they look like a sneaker. Make up your'e mind on what you need them for and tell me and let me help you find a cool pair of either a sneaker or a shoe. It will save you money because there are thousands of shoes out there that look great, are very comftorble, will last you for years, and are more affordable. dont make the mistake of buying these shoes again.

They are outdated and not in a good way like a jordan and if you insist get a bootleg.

"ZACKSTYLE"

Theres nothing better in the world than hanging out in a pair of sweat pants am i wrong? there comftorble and theres no fly so you could just "hop the fence" and there just freakin great when youre "lounging". Thats where the problem is, how often do we get to "lounge" i know im always busy running around and seeing people. So how can i incorporate sweats in my everyday wardrobe?
What i do is i wear sweatpants with a polo shirt. I got that from my boy Z he's been wearing sweats and polos since our day's abroad in Isreal. Nothing looks better than a pair of plain navy blue sweatpants and a white polo.... GANGSTA!!! it makes any sneaker look good and its the most comftorble thing in the world to wear.
Ready for this guys? You can even wear sweatpants with a button down shirt!! yeah thats right solid sweatpants and a plaid shirt, not a suit shirt but a cool plaid one that looks very relaxed. I recommend this outfit when you go to the titty bar. because you look casual and who the hell wants a lap dance wearing jeans?....

"The Dark Side Of The IV's"

Today im gonna express myself about a very sensitive subject to me. I have alot of sneakers and have had alot of cool ones in my time. I love all my sneakers and each pair has a diffrent meaning to me. From Jordans to Dunks to Chucks i have a pretty extencive sneaker selection. A very important sneaker in my collection is the Jordan "retro IV's" there white with some black and red details and have a picture of spike lee on the back with a Brooklyn hat. This pair was a wide release in the summer of 2006 and were easy to get then. There still not so hard to find today but youre definately gonna pay more than I did. The VI's are my favorite Jordans and i have to get the pair pictured under my paragraph, theres just one small problem. The pair pictured are from the early 90s and are pretty impossible to get. Ive seen a pair my size here and there on Flightclub.com but for $600. Maybe one day.....maybe one day.

"An Ode To My Chucks"

Ever have a problem deciding what sneakers to wear with what outfit? You must not own a pair of chucks because if you did that problem wouldnt exist. No matter what color or what style i can always get away with wearing my plain old ass Converse All Stars. I happen to have a pair of John Varvatos Chucks, you probably do to if you got youres in the past 3 years and theyll always look. good
I hate wearing a dirty pair of sneakers, who wants to wear dogged ass kicks, however chucks can look even better dirty. I think the white rubber tip in the front looks alot better dirtier, does anyone agree?
Are you going to a casual event that requires a suit? (not a wedding) maybe for business or a nice dinner.... And youre thug enough to wear the 2 button suit no tie NO BELT? youre gonna probably think im crazy for this one (if you dont already) but you could WEAR CHUCKS WITH A SUIT!!! Looks great!! Grey suit, white shirt, black or white chucks even red or blue. (clean ones with a suit). If you are going to wear the belt, you could wear a red tie and red chucks. That would be cool too.
So we know now that Chucks are the most versatile and common shoe in the world, probably the cheapest too so were able to stock some cool colors.

"Pick Up Youre Pants!!"

I used to hear that more often, fortunately i turned 17 and realized its not so cool (for me) to wear my pants mid-ass especially because my ass is big. So i started wearing belts with jeans. What color belt? BROWN!!!!! i hate seeing people wear black belts with blue jeans. I know we were all raised on the idea that black goes with anything, but it doesnt. But wait! when can you wear a black belt with blue jeans? When you have no choice but to wear black shoes with jeans then you have to wear a black belt (i dont recomend it) and never do it with a blue or navy top then youre just going to look stupid.
I just bought a very very dark blue jean almost looks black. I could still wear a brown belt with it and it still looks rolling however, a black belt looks alot better especially because im not wearing brown or blue shoes or a brown or blue shirt.
Take youre best suit out of youre closet. When you button the pants at the waist is there a piece of fabric thats there to cover youre button? most new suits have this piece and if youre suit does, do not wear a belt at all. I know you guys think im crazy "no belt with a suit?" it puts the whole suit together. I think otherwise, a belt puts the suit together when youre wearing a tie. Who always wears a tie, i know everyone likes to go no tie first button open, it looks great. So when youre not wearing a tie DO NOT WEAR A BELT very cool style, keep youre jackets open show the no belted waist (looks alot better with 2 button suits). Walk with a swag cause youre the shit.

"Ugly Boot's"

Ive been taking the train to work lately and realized that no one in the city knows what to do about there shoe situation. Everyobody's wearing ugly ass sketcher boot's that make there whole oufits look horrible! I know most people dont care about what they wear but I want to make sure that my friends and readers of my blog dont make this mistake. Dont worry fellas im here to help.
Sneakers and jeans!! you can never go wrong, you can wear any pair of sneakers and any jeans itll always look good, whether youre wearing a t-shirt a button down or a fancy ass sweater as long as its jeans it could always be safe with sneakers. So now how can we actually wear boots or oxfords with jeans? The answer? you have to wear a "straight leg" jean with a skinnyer boot or dressier shoe, if youre wearing big boots (not sketchers) like a regular thug ass tan Timberland boot, you can wear any jean.

"Its Getting Warmer"

Its February already and before we know it it'll be warmer out. I love this time of year for 100 diffrent reasons but my favorite one is that I need a spring jacket. I love spring jackets because there so light and easy, they make you look good and you need it because its a little cold out. Winter sucks, coats are fun to wear also but freakin annoying when you drive then you gotta take it off and you all know what im talking about.
I was in vegas last week and got to check out the Project Show and got an idea of what this spring is gonna be like jacketwise. Its alot of trench coats and very cool bomber jackets. I want both!! but gotta go with one. what should i do? i love trench coats there long and slimming and have a cool belt but the bombers are sick too, there leather (good ones), there short they dont have a collar and there Gangstaaa so now i gotta figure out what looks better on me. If it were for a shorter person theyd definately have to go with the longer trench coat because it would make them look taller. As a taller person i think im gonna go with the bomber because its diffrent and looks better on me and because i had a pea coat this winter and its too similar to the trench coat (ill look like inspector gadget all year round).
So you guys are probably thinking "how can you rock either one"? trench coats and bomber jackets are so diffrent in style, ones for work and for dressy clothes and ones for jeans and a t-shirt. The answer is, is that you gotta be a fukin gangstaa and be able to rock both whenever with whatever. How? keep checking in to the BLOG BITCHESS

"Nudie Jeans? or Dudie Jeans?

Ive been in the market for new jeans, i usually wear John Varvatos and i usually look for style comfort and durability and maybe a cool label here and there but im thinking about something new and all i see when i search the web is Nudie Jeans. All the hype and all the buzz is around these jeans so i had to check em out for myself. on my jeans journey i realized that all that Nudie Jeans are is hype and a stupid gimmick and they wont look good unless you have absolutely no ass, ugly back pockets and boring washes and c'mon what kind of tags say dont wash youre jeans i think they might be outfitting homeless people because i like a clean pair of jeans. What i did find is the Ernest Sewn store in the meatpacking district, a huge selection or washes cuts and very subtle durable jeans. there priced okay if youre considering that Diesel charges $280 but...... my first pick jeans are still JOHN VARVATOS still the most comftorble and still the best washes and dont think there so expencive because i definately know how expencive "Johnny V" could be, but not the Jeans still $200 when Diesel across the street is charging $240 -$300 who do they think they are?
