"Red and Orange Green and Blue, shiny Yellow Purple too."

Every morning when i wake up i log onto Google.com to see what the weather is going to be like. The past few days it has been very cold and today... cloud's and fog. To my surprise, when i looked this morning i saw that tomorrow will be 61 degrees. As i was putting on my heavy coat I looked to the side and thought to myself how I couldn't wait for tomorrow so I can wear my lighter jacket.
SPRING IS HERE and the colors should be out!! I sell ladies jeans and all the hype right now is about the color denim. The company I work for has them in 10 different bright ass color's and in 4 different cuts, a skinny long, skinny Capri, Bermuda and short Short's and they look good! It's very unfortunate that if i want to see pretty girl's wearing them I have to travel to the Bronx but that shouldn't be. I want to see some pretty white girl's in Lilac skinny jean's. Is that to much to ask?
I understand my boy's won't wear too much color in their wardrobe. If there is anything I hate it is bright MIX color shirt's. When my boy's wear a striped button down they don't mix too many colors, so how can we incorporate color into the wardrobe?
Besides for it being "all about the kicks brova", we can also add color by wearing a cool Blue or Green spring jacket. Now that the weather is nice we can even wear a cool Baseball cap. I know my boy Joe Lew is gonna rock his Mets cap come spring time.
Spring time is also wedding season. I hate bright colors when I wear a suit but they can definitely be cool to other people, I understand. Light Grey suit jacket's are the best way to go these day's. Light Grey will bring out the color of any beautiful shirt in any color. A tie isn't even necessary. How about some Navy suit's this season. If you already own a Navy suit you are a roller. Try to wear a nice brown pair of lace up dress shoes (if you don't already do so). And don't forget to walk with a swag.... you're from the county of the KING'S

"Its All About The Kick's Brova"

My friend Nathan and I were on the way to meet the rest of the boy's for lunch. As we were walking Nathan go's "Yo those guy's were checking your sneaker's out". I got paranoid and and kept walking, I don't like men looking at my leg's. I thought to myself how it was awkward that they were staring but I'm glad because maybe they could learn from it. I like when people wear nice kicks. You guys know what I like more?
When people wear cool sneaker's and dressy clothes. By dressy clothes I don't mean a suit, but a nice button down shirt and a dressy jacket with jeans and high top sneaker's.
GANGSTAAA you got ball's? dress like me!
Sneaker's to work can tell alot about a person. maybe that hes still young and does'nt worry as much. More easy going and lay back but sharp and daring. Not all day's can allow you to do that I understand a suit once in a while but "Its all about the kicks brova".
I was walking to my cigarette spot on my floor. As i turned the hall I saw my neighbor's secratary. She's very pretty and she's a thug. I don't like to flirt with people i have to see all the time like that but this time was diffrent... She was wearing a pair of Pee Wee Herman high top dunk's! my jaw dropped and i almost dropped my cigarette. I happened to be wearing my Brut high top Dunk's that day but I saw her grilling them down as well.
There is nothing sexier to me than a cute girl in high top sneaker's. I've seen cool high top Adidas and even cool high top Reebok's they all look good (except for the All Star's and the Air Force Ones, there too ghetto)
Sneaker's can put A whole outfit together, but they can also ruin an outfit. Make sure your color's are good and make sure the type of sneaker is for the right occasion. For example... Don't wear your Carmelo Anothony basketball sneaker's with jeans. It just does'nt work. Wear them with sweat pant's and basketball shorts because that's what there made for.
Summer time is coming up and I want to make sure all my reader's know what to wear on there feet. If you're wearing relaxed chino short's and a button down oxford shirt, which i highly recommend, try a pair of boat shoe's.
Photobucket
That's a very plain pair but they are very cool you obviously don't wear sock's with them and "Sperry Top-Sider" is the company that's known for boat shoes.
At night? Wear a Driving shoe.
Photobucket
With jeans (if your'e not kicked out) or with the same outfit as the boat shoe. Also worn without sock's. Get a nice pair with nice soft suede inside and they will feel so good on your feet.
Im not a sandal guy and if any sandal guy's are reading this, X your screen and don't come back bitch. Slipper's to the beach and pool only. And do me a favor put them on when you get to there, not before.

"Next Stop, 59th Street and Lexington. Stand Clear Of Closing Door's"

"The Hookup"... one of the most important factor's when it comes to buying thing's. When i realize i need something whether it may be a camera, TV, watch, or even a car the first thing i think is "who can hook me up".
I have a close relative who work's in Bloomingdale's on 59th street. She's very cool and she's engaged to my brother so she know's me pretty well. It was about a month ago, she texted me randomly and said "you have to see the new men's section at bloomingdales". I replied i'd come, and planned on going. I like to visit Bloomiingdale's once in a while especially around sale time. I didn't get a chance to see the new men's section and completely forgot about the text.
My brother called me up today and said "im in bloomingdale's they're having the super sale again come shop". I got excited and ran, you guy's know what i love more than shopping? A good bargain. When i arrived my future sister in law smiled and told me what the sale was like. My eyes lit up and i gave her a huge hug. While i was hugging her she asked if i'd seen the men's section again. I said no and she got pissed. Not really but she was like, "go see it!!!".
I started walking torward's the men's cool jean section. If you know what i mean about Bloomingdale's, all the designer's have there own section's. Then there is the jeans section where the Diesel is the Seven, (not so) True Religion, Triple 5 soul etc.... they used to call that section the "the mix". As i got closer to the section i saw rug's. I asked the salesman where the jeans were. He said downstair's. I thought to myself arn't i downstairs? i saw another escalator going down and hopped on it.
The coolest men's section i've seen in the whole city. And even cooler? there's an entrance to the 1, 2, 3, N, R, W train's. Directly from the platform into Bloomindale's. How cool is that? Unfortunately I dont use any of these train's. and never go up that far unless i have to go to Bloomindale's. The clothes are "ehh" alright. Im not into those jeans anymore or clothes anymore you could usually find me shopping in the John Varvatos section upstrair's but... Check out the Converse/John varvatos line in the cool men's section downstair's. That shit look's good and its not as expencive as other brands but the quality and the style are absolutely great.

"Outerwear Blues"

I have the privelage of working in the biggest and best city in the world. New York City.I love the huge building's and all the foot traffic. I love the food, the people and the vibe I get in Manhattan. The thing I love most about working in Manhattan has got to be the fact that alot of my boy's work in the same neighborhood, if not the same building.
My boy's and I always arrange to meet for lunch. Can you tell me anything better than that? nope! There's nothing better than eating with my boy's. whether It's meat or dairy or even ice cream, if were eating together it's fun.
The other day while i was having my cigarette outside the restaurant, i realized something intresting but wierd. All my boy's and I were wearing the same type of long Black jacket. They wouldnt look so similar if you were standing in the semi-circle but from outside it must have looked like we were going to pull a Columbine.
I understand It look's good with everything we wear to work and we don't always walk together but alittle color in the entourage would'nt hurt.
A normal person wouldn't point this out in his crew. That's why you should keep logging in to OrenStyle.

"Absurd" Is The Word.

I hope all my readers had a great holiday, I know I did. One of the thing's I loved most about the holiday was dancing in my yeshiva with all my friend's, rabbis and there kid's. It always start's off with a big huge circle then people go into the circle and everyone is having a blast. Only men acting crazy, imagine someone that didnt know how we roll happened to walk in on us doing the "hora" don't you think he would think we were crazy? I think he would. but... could he do it better?
I've been out to diffrent parties in many diffrent cities and counries in the world. In all the year's of seeing people dance in club's or whatever i never thought to myself that this wasn't wierd.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GOOD MALE DANCER!!!! there are alot of good attempt's but if you consider yourself a respectable man you won't take dancing the slightest bit serious. I hate to admit it, but when i have too.... I'll break out my 2 step only when i have a drink otherwise i'd feel like the biggest asswipe.
Why do people dance?
Why do we have to move our bodies in wierd awkward position's when we are happy?
A great friend of mine got engaged last night. I attended his party and went to greet him on the dance floor. We gave eachother a big hug, I congradulated him and we started dancing.... How wierd does that sound? "I went to dance with my male friend".
It would be very hard for someone from another culture or background to understand how we greet eachother. It could even make one of us start thinking, why? I'm not doing research for you but i think the answer is obvious. TRADITION. Most of the thing's we do are adapted from our ancestor's. Most people asimilate and adapt to their enviroment which is dumb American culture, but we don't. We still dance in big circle's and we will always do so were the Jew's and these are some of the things that make us diffrent.
So back to the awkwardness of modern dancing, don't do it. I dont care if you think you could breakdance or rave or crip walk don't ever think that you are really good at it. If you're making fun of the people that do,that's fine I do it all the time and I do it well.
You think dancing could be one of your hobbies?
Get your crew together and do it all together like this,

The only way i wont make fun of you dancing is if you could bring it like that.

"No need to be gready I got mad friend's with Benz's C-notes by the layas true fuckin playas"

Quote:
"Friendship is not something that can be bought or earned, friendship is something that develope's naturally".
The other day, my good friend asked me what i was doing that evening. I told him that i was going to meet up with an old friend of mine who was in town for that night. The friend that i was with looked at me and said "him? your'e still in touch with him?". And i definately am, so i said yeah.
My friend got me thinking, why would'nt I want to be in touch with someone that know's me from as far back as i know myself. I have some friend's that I will stay in touch with forever. Whether its a once in a while phone call, a birthday, a celebration, a holiday or even a favor. I can always count on these friend's. Throughout the year's we naturally grew a part, we went to diffrent high school's and made new friend's. But that's what make's everytime we hang out even more intresting. Great stories and new people to meet.
I must havebeen 8 year's old when i saw "The Babysitter's Club". "TBC" was a series of girly book's that became a movie. I dont remember much of it but i remember the end. The main character from the movie was narrating some cheesy crap about her friend's and i don't know why but i will always remember this line. "my mother always said, that if i have more friend's then finger's on a hand then i have alot of friend's, well i can". I dunno why i still remember that now but i remember counting my fingers and realizing that i had alot alot of friend's.
Today, I would'nt be able to count my friend's with all my finger's and all my toe's. I developed alot of great friendship's once i started high school.
My new friend's are great, I've known all of them for a long time but i still consider them "new". We've been through happy and sad, fortunately mostly happy. We've traveled together, we even lived together in another country. All my boy's are roller's, they work hard and dont take much for granted. They are respectful and helpful and they are fuuuuked up but i am too and that's what make's us boy's.

"American eyes American eyes, view the world from American eyes, bury the past, rob us blind.... and leave nothing behind."

I've been a big fan of "Rage Against The Machine" for a long time now. "Rage Against The Machine" is a rock band that was very popular in the 90's. They really are one of the greatest band's ever according to OrenStyle. The guitarist is Tom Morello who is amazing with effects and win's the best guitarist award every other year from GuitarWorld magazine. The singer's name is Zack De La Rocha. Zack is a harvard graduate and a modern day revolutionary. His belief's are very influential through his music and very relevant to modern day American lifestyle. He hates our country the United States and feel's we are victims to it's conformity.
I compare Zack's word's with the word's i was tought growing up in a yeshiva. "this is all materialism". What is this world and what brings us happiness? is it money? Would driving a nice car and wearing fancy expencive clothes make me happy? (no) Is it the party's and going out drinking and dancing? (no) so what does bring us happiness?
According to Zack i dont think too many thing's bring us happiness. So i disagree with him alittle, but according to the word's that will be instilled in my head for the rest of my life, family will bring me joy and happiness. My religion will bring me joy and happiness. Helping other's succeed will bring me the most joy and happiness.
All these material thing's will not bring us anything but headache's. I know that i write about them all the time and enjoy using them, but as long as I KNOW that they are just temporary and that I am a prisoner of society, I will eventually improve and we should all do the same.
